Mikaela Fahey, PSP
Mikaela Fahey, PSP, CBCP, is a retired U.S. Army Veteran who honorably served for over 22 years in both Active Duty and National Guard components. Recognized for her unwavering dedication, Mikaela has a passion for guiding fellow service members in their transition to civilian life. Currently, she contributes her expertise as a Regional Security Officer (RSO) on Walmart's Risk Assessment, Security & Assurance (RASA) team at the company’s Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas. In this role, she focuses on conducting security risk assessments and implementing strategies to mitigate acts of violence across Walmart’s extensive business operations.
Mikaela is deeply involved in both the security and Veteran communities, dedicating her time as a volunteer leader for several organizations. She serves as Vice Chair of ASIS International’s Military & Veterans Community (MVC) and is the current Chair of the Northwest Arkansas ASIS Chapter. Her contributions to the field and her pursuit of professional development have earned her several prestigious accolades. These include the 2020 ASIS MLC Scholarship, which supported her achievement of the Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification, and the 2021 DRI Foundation Veteran’s Outreach Program Scholarship, which facilitated her earning the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) designation. Mikaela is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Arkansas where she instructs an introductory course in Homeland Security for the M.S. in Operations Management program. Her career reflects her commitment to fostering safety, community, and growth, both professionally and personally.
