Melissa Muir
Melissa Muir brings a rare and essential perspective to workplace violence prevention as a professional bridging human resources and security expertise. With over 25 years of HR experience and 15 of that in threat management and security, she has developed and implemented prevention strategies that work in real organizational settings. Melissa understands how to move beyond policy frameworks to practical, people-centered application.
After HR leadership roles in federal and local government, Melissa now provides services through Pinkerton’s Threat Management Group to organizations worldwide to design effective prevention programs that reduce risk while fostering cultures where employees thrive.
