After this session, participants will be able to:

Customize your event security/crisis response plan and preparing for the unexpected. All company events, especially those occurring away from company facilities, should have a customized plan meticulously designed by the security department in partnership with all other departments that are involved or can be impacted by adverse events.

Ensure you have senior management commitment before and during a crisis event. Leadership should review all pre-event preparations and provide immediate and ongoing engagement and support during the crisis response phases. Employee life-safety should be the priority and financial resources immediately available for the front-line response team.

Have core resiliency components of courage, stamina, and innovation in the face of extreme adversity. In this case, the contracted global crisis response firm was unable to provide personnel, transportation, and resources for the rescue mission and the Schneider Electric Mexico security department personally conducted the operation.
